COMSEC Communications Security (COMSEC) Cryptographic Key Management and Engineering Services   3

Background
The Space Development Agency (SDA) is seeking Communications Security (COMSEC) and cryptographic key management and engineering services for use by SDA, SDA Primes/Subs, and other SDA support organizations, supporting Tranche 0, Tranche 1, and potentially future Tranche efforts in the execution of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). The services proposed to be acquired under this contract will be performed between May 2023 and May 2024.

Work Details
WebSec will provide COMSEC support to include cryptographic key management, key delivery services, and cryptographic engineering services for SDA. Requisite COMSEC support will include engineering and Subject Matter Expert support for SDA and partner organizations.
Cryptographic key delivery and management will include obtaining key material from the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Cybersecurity and Cryptologic Systems Division (CCSD), coordinating and receiving Controlling Authority (CONATH) key approvals, ensuring auditing and reporting to NSA and COMSEC accounts, and delivering key material to SDA and its primes/subcontractors in the correct format. The contractor will modify Link 16 terrestrial keys for space use to ensure they successfully load into the Link 16 equipment after receiving the appropriate approvals.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance will be approximately twelve (12) months from date of award. The contract will also contain a 12 month option period.
