Description

Synopsis:

Sources Sought notice is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 622110 with a corresponding size standard of $47M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in both large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns.

Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W) Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking a non-personal services requirement for experienced and certified Sterilization/Processing/Distribution (SPD),High Level Disinfection (HLD), and Perioperative services contractor to independently manage surgical instrumentation and equipment, workflow management, onsite operations, and administration from end-to-end with no direction, training, or management by the federal government. The Contractor shall have the capability to track and report of the following: Manage Operating Room (OR) procedure schedules, live tracking of scopes due to for turnover, live tracking of instrument/equipment defects and Reporting of daily workload statistics at the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

The Scope of this effort includes end-to-end independent management of perioperative services as it relates to equipment management from OR through SPD and various HLD outpatient clinics. Contractor support shall include certified personnel, adherance to industry and regulatory requirements, management of onsite operations, oversee the alignment of equipment requirements against procedure/OR operations, manage onsite workflow, movement of equipment, cleaning/sterilization of equipment, HLD scope processing services, and provide necessary administration to perform services to the standards and acceptable quality levels.

This requirement is expected to result in the award of a single Firm-Fixed Price contract.

The anticipated delivery date is TBD.

Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
