CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), FAA Academy (AMA-260) has a requirement for commercial training regarding composite materials for Aviation Safety Inspectors IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/ Requirements type contract with a 1-year base period and two, 1-year option periods if exercised. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached document(s). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the SIR document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Jason McLaughlin, Contracting Officer (AAQ-812) at jason.mclaughlin@faa.gov. All proposals must be received by the FAA CO no later than the date and time identified within Block 8 of the front page (page 1) of the SIR. If a proposal cannot be submitted electronically, offerors are to adhere to the following for submitting hardcopies: Bid and Proposal Office (AAQ-700) Room 313, 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169, no later than 1:00 P.M. CT, January 05, 2018. Hand-carried proposals (or proposals sent by overnight delivery) shall be delivered to Room 313 of the Multi-Purpose Building located at 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. Proposals must be sealed and labeled as follows: SIR No. 6973GH-18-R-00007; due 1:00 P.M. CT, January 05, 2018. All submittals will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due date and time of 1:00 p.m. CT, January 05, 2018 will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Any and all questions pertaining to this SIR should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at, jason.mclaughlin@faa.gov by 1:00 p.m. CT, December 14, 2017, to allow for adequate response time.
