Competitive South Florida SATOC for South Florida Area Office   4

Background
The U.S. Army Engineer District, Mobile is issuing a competitive solicitation for a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for the South Florida Area Office. This contract aims to support renovation, alterations, repair, and new construction requirements within the Mobile District’s area of responsibility. The overarching goal is to provide a quick and cost-effective response to various construction needs, aligning with the mission of supporting installation requirements in South Florida.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a full range of construction and design/build task orders, including but not limited to:

- New construction
- Repair of facilities
- Incidental design or full design of various types of facilities such as administrative buildings, academic facilities, base support shops, physical fitness centers, vehicle maintenance shops, lodging facilities (barracks and dormitories), food service facilities, medical facilities, public safety structures (police and fire stations), airfield structures (hangars and control towers), and research facilities.

The work may also involve environmental permitting, LEED certification processes, and abatement for lead-based paint (LBP) and asbestos-containing materials (ACM). The contractor is expected to furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and adhere to strict schedules established in each Task Order. Additionally, the contractor must prepare an Accident Prevention Plan and/or Site Specific Health and Safety Plan as required by individual Task Orders.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance will primarily be within the South Florida Area Office's jurisdiction.
