Community Nursing Home Open and Continuous Request for Quote   5

Background
The Government's intent for this Request for quote (RFQ) is to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDQ) under authority 38 U.S.C. § 1720 for Nursing Home Services to all eligible Veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs in various counties within the State of Texas as the need arises. This open and continuous solicitation will remain active as proposals are received. The first consideration will take place on 04.01.2024.
All awarded contracts from this solicitation will be used to award multiple indefinite-delivery contracts with facilities that meet the community nursing home requirements. Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM.GOV prior to submitting their offer.

Work Details
The Community Nursing Home (CNH) program is a key component of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) continuum of care. The Contractor agrees to provide services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), in Temple, Texas at the prices specified in the section titled Schedule of Items of this IDIQ.
Nursing home facilities in the CNH program shall cooperate with VA staff in referral of appropriate veterans for care and accept veterans of which they have the capability/capacity to care.

Period of Performance
This is an indefinite-quantity contract for the supplies or services specified, and effective for the period stated in the Schedule.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed include various counties within the State of Texas.
