Commercial Solutions Opening - ERDC CERL Warfighter Engineering   4

This notice is for a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) in support of the Warfighter Engineering Branch of the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory at the Engineering Reserach and Development Center.

The ERDC-CERL supports the full R&D lifecycle from basic research through Army implementation and subsequent support to ensure effective adoption and utilization of products arising from R&D investments. The Warfighter Engineering Branch of the ERDC-CERL focuses on operational science and engineering to integrate solutions for all phases of contingency operations.

Efforts concentrate on the tools, processes, and technologies associated with planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and management for deployed Army Engineers (and other services). Research is also conducted in the areas of advanced construction designs, methodologies, and materials; contingency designs for extreme/austere environments; large scale additive construction; robotic terrain shaping and construction technologies; autonomous characterization and mapping of the environment; machine control and decision-making methodologies for autonomous control of heavy Engineer equipment and multi-platform collaboration and teaming.

All solutions shall be submitted via the ERDCWERX platform. Solutions for the general areas of interest will be accepted beginning 27 July 2022 and ending 1700CST 31 July 2023, or as otherwise specified on an individual program requirement.
