Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) PEO-SDA

Background
The USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) aims to accelerate the application of commercially derived software innovation into deployable warfighting capabilities in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF). This includes early identification of warfighter needs and continuous engagement with users during software development and fielding to enhance lethality and efficiency.

Work Details
SOF AT&L seeks to award contracts and agreements to non-traditional and traditional defense contractors for prototype projects relevant to enhancing the effectiveness of software intensive programs, platforms, components, algorithms, and processes. The Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) will make awards to proposals for innovative, commercial technologies through multi-phased, competitive processes throughout 2023. The CSO process includes Phase I for seeking solutions on a full-and-open basis under certain Technology Areas of Interest (AOI), Phase II for evaluation and pitching/demonstration sessions, and Phase III for contract or agreement negotiation. Specific guidelines for Solution Briefs, Pitches, Demonstrations, and Proposals are provided in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The CSO will make awards through multi-phased competitive processes throughout 2023. The period of performance for any solution brief or proposal submitted under this CSO should generally be no greater than 24 months.
