Background
The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N5523625R0015 to provide Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) Sheetmetal Support for U.S. Navy ships within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the necessary labor, services, equipment, and materials are available for sheetmetal repairs, replacement, fabrication, and installation on U.S. Navy vessels. This contract will be a firm-fixed price (FFP), multiple-award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (MAC-IDIQ) contract with five 1-year ordering periods and is set aside for small businesses.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide labor, services, equipment, and materials for sheetmetal repairs, replacement, fabrication, and installation services onboard U.S. Navy ships. The work includes adherence to the latest revisions of all references and specifications as well as NAVSEA Standard Items.

Specific tasks include:
1. Submission of Condition Found Reports (CFRs) identifying discrepancies within 24 hours of milestone events.
2. Submission of Pier Laydown requests within 24 hours after receipt of awarded Delivery Orders.
3. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations during all operations.
4. Management of subcontractors and ensuring quality control throughout the project.
5. Disposal of all waste generated during the performance of the contract in accordance with applicable laws.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a period consisting of five 1-year ordering periods starting from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA.
