Background
The Minnesota Army National Guard (MNARNG) has a requirement to purchase a brand-new Commercial Front-Mount Mower w/Cab and Attachments for Camp Ripley Training Center (CRTC) in Little Falls, MN. This acquisition is structured as a 'Brand Name or Equal' procurement, with the baseline reference model being the John Deere 1585 TerrainCut Front Mower. The goal of this contract is to acquire equipment that meets or exceeds specified performance standards to support the operational needs of the MNARNG.

The contract involves the delivery of one (1) Commercial Front-Mount Mower w/Cab and Attachments. The salient characteristics that must be met or exceeded include:

- Must Comply with ANSI B71.4 Safety Certification. Additionally, the mower deck must be a Commercial Rear Discharge type that is 72” wide, made of heavy-duty grade steel (minimum 7 gauge), and have a blade tip speed minimum of 18,000 FPM.
