Description

VA New Mexico Healthcare System requires the deinstallation and disposal of the current dishwasher and the delivery and installation of a new dishwasher.

Background
The New Mexico VA Healthcare System (NMVAHS) is seeking to replace an outdated dishwasher in their Nutrition and Food Services kitchen, which serves approximately 500 meals per day. The current Hobart FT900D-BD dishwasher, installed in 2015, has reached the end of its life and has experienced numerous failures in recent years. The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation of a new dishwasher that meets the operational needs of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall uninstall and dispose of the existing dishwasher and deliver and install a new dishwasher that meets specific requirements. The new unit must be compatible with the current Hobart conveyor belt, as well as existing ventilation, plumbing, and electrical connections. The deliverables include:

- Line Item 0001: DISHWASHER, FLIGHT TYPE - HOBART FT1000E+ENERGY - Quantity: 1
- Line Item 0002: INSTALLATION DISHWASHER - Quantity: 1
- Line Item 0003: WATER SOFTENER CONDITIONER - HOBART WS80-NOINSTALL (10018221) - Quantity: 1
- Line Item 0004: INSTALLATION WATER CONDITIONER - Quantity: 1

The contractor must ensure that all items are compliant with the Non-Manufacturer Rule (NMR) and the Buy American Act (BAA). No remanufactured or gray market items will be accepted; only products from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or authorized dealers are permissible.
