PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN THE PIEE SOLICITATION MODULE:
Due to a technical error in the Solicitation Module in PIEE, the response date in PIEE cannot be updated from 13 November 2023 to 16 November 2023. The officical proposal submission due date remains 16 November 2023 at 12:00 PM EST.
When submitting proposals, the Offeror may get the error message that the response date has passed and the proposal is being recorded as a late offer . While the system is considering these late offers , the Government will not consider any proposals submitted before 16 November 2023 at 12:00 PM EST as a late offer.
If any offerors experience issues sumbitting proposals into PIEE due to the error regarding the response date, please contact Robert Miedzinski at robert.m.miedzinski.civ@us.navy.mil for assistance.

REQUIREMENT:
The purpose of this notice is to release the OFFICIAL Solicitation, N6852023R0035, to initiate a competitive source selection and award a contract in support of Transportation Support Services (TSS) for Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) located at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, Havelock, NC.
The TSS under the planned contract will support physical movement of all work-in-process throughout the facility as it undergoes repair, as well as movement of all parts and materials supporting repair operations. The "internal logistics" support provided under this contract is critical to continued operation of FRCE, as mission workload repairs to aircraft, engines and components cannot be completed unless transportation of work-in-process, including the parts and materials necessary to effect repairs.
Proposals will be due no later than 05:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 13 November 2023. The contract is anticipated to be awarded as late as the third quarter FY 2024, depending on the necessary duration of the source selection evaluation phase.
CONTRACT TYPE:
The anticipated contract is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The Period of Performance (PoP) of this contract is five (5) years (one base and four option periods).
This contract will be covered by the Service Contract Act, pursuant to FAR Part 22.
ELIGIBILITY:
This procurement is hereby solicited as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) competitive set-aside.

4.1.1 The submission date for all Volumes shall be no later than the date and time specified in Block 9 of the SF 33 of the RFP.
4.1.2 All volumes of the proposal shall be submitted electronically through the Solicitation Module of the Department of Defense (DoD) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at https://piee.eb.mil. No other submissions, such as mail, hand-carried, or other electronic system (e.g., DOD SAFE) are authorized by the solicitation unless specifically authorized by the Contracting Officer pursuant to paragraph 4.1.3 below. Background
