Background
This solicitation is issued by the US Army for an unrestricted, full and open competitive acquisition aimed at awarding a firm fixed price, design-bid-build, C-Type construction contract. The project focuses on the renovation of the northern half of Building 28 and a portion of the basement in Building 1 to establish a secure command and control administrative source for the US Army V Corps Headquarters (Forward) located in Poznan, Poland. This requirement includes comprehensive renovations across multiple buildings to enhance operational capabilities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes: complete renovation of Building 28 North, all of Building 2, and several basement rooms in Building 1. Key tasks involve major architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications work. Specific elements include installation of fire pump/tank systems, redundant power supplies, elevators, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, telecommunications area core switches (ACS), area distribution switches (ADS), equipment access switches (EAS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS). Additional work encompasses site development including utilities and connections, lighting installation, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, landscaping, signage installation; creation of security zones and administrative areas for a Joint Operations Center (JOC) and Open Storage Secret (OSS) area; as well as self-contained heating and air conditioning systems.
