COMM 1 Upgrade

NASA/Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC)is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for DATR COMM 1 Model 3000 Upgrade / ITR 2022-778.

The attached Statement of Work (SOW) describes the possible future tasks that AFRC may require regarding the current COMM-1 pedestal to a Model 3000D, which includes an update of the hardware and software for the Antenna Control Unit.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA / AFRC is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), and members of the underserved communities as defined by Executive Order 13985, Advancing Racial Equity And Support For Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government, for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for DATR COMM 1 Model 3000 Upgrade / ITR 2022-778. The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received.

The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334290 - Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The applicable size standard is 750 employees.

The Government will be seeking the most highly qualified firm(s) to perform the required services, based on the demonstrated competence and qualifications, in accordance with the selection criteria and the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Interested firms are responsible for monitoring this website for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.

Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
