This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, ?Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services,? as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2025-04.The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561730, with a small business size standard of $9,500,000.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Shelbyville Project Office, 1989 State Hwy 16, Shelbyville, IL, is seeking contractors to provide grounds maintenance services throughout the project area at Lake Shelbyville. Grounds maintenance includes, but not limited to; mowing, trimming; and vegetative control (herbicide application) in or around riprapped areas, wastewater treatment lagoons, unmowable areas, guard rails, fences, sidewalks, beaches, parking lots, and roadways; grass seeding, fertilizing, bed maintenance, sand maintenance, aeration, mulch, turf establishment, containerized tree plantings, miscellaneous grounds maintenance items and renovation in accordance with the specifications contained herein.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Shelbyville Project Office, is seeking contractors to provide grounds maintenance services throughout the project area at Lake Shelbyville. This project aims to maintain the aesthetics and functionality of the recreational areas that attract approximately 2.5 to 3.5 million visitors annually.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of grounds maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, and vegetative control (herbicide application) in areas such as riprapped zones, wastewater treatment lagoons, unmowable areas, guard rails, fences, sidewalks, beaches, parking lots, and roadways.

Additional tasks include grass seeding, fertilizing, bed maintenance, sand maintenance, aeration, mulching, turf establishment, containerized tree plantings, and miscellaneous grounds maintenance items and renovations as specified in the Performance Work Statement.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2030 with an option line item extending from January 1, 2031 to June 30, 2031.
