Background
The U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) is seeking to procure specific components for their Clock Development Division, which is part of the Precise Time Department. This division is responsible for maintaining and advancing high-performing rubidium fountain atomic clocks used to generate precise time.

The contract aims to acquire components that are essential for building two new atomic fountain clocks, following the same design as six previous builds. The sole source award is directed to Stanford Research Systems (SRS), as they are the only vendor capable of providing the original components necessary for these specialized clocks due to their unique design and manufacturing capabilities.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items with specified quantities:
1. SRS SIM9B2 - Blank double-wide SIM module, Quantity: 8
2. SRS DS345/1 - 30 MHz function/arb generator (with option 01), Quantity: 4
3. SRS O345RMD - Double rack mount kit for DS3XX, Quantity: 2

All items must be compatible with existing systems and designed to match the specifications of previously built clocks to ensure functionality and performance.

Period of Performance
The required delivery date is four (4) months from the date of purchase order award.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the U.S. Naval Observatory located at 3450 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington DC 20392-5420.
