Background
The Columbine Office Painting Project is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and aims to improve the exterior functionality, aesthetics, and experiences at the Columbine Ranger District Office Complex in Bayfield, Colorado.

The structures at this site were constructed starting in the 1940s, and due to age and environmental exposure, the exterior paint has become faded and peeling. Additionally, high traffic and moisture have caused deterioration in several wooden structures, necessitating repairs and replacements.
