Background
The solicitation is for a fixed-priced time charter with reimbursable elements, with a performance period of one 366-day firm period, four additional one-year options, and a fifth option of 336 days. The solicitation requires the time charter of a clean, approved U.S. Flag or foreign flag tanker with Segregated Ballast Tanks (SBT) capable of carrying a minimum of 40,000 bbls of clean product within vessel’s natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double valve isolation.
