CO Roadway and Parking Lot Maintenance BPA   2

Background
The solicitation is for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Roadway and Parking Lot Maintenance at the Front Range National Wildlife Refuge Complex in Colorado. The agreement aims to obtain periodic preventative maintenance of refuge parking lots, adjacent pull-outs, roadways, and pedestrian crossings. The Contractor is responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and personnel necessary to meet or exceed the Agreement specifications. The agreement will provide maintenance to all parking lots on a five-year schedule.

Work Details
The work includes preventative maintenance of parking lots, striping, stenciling, standard and/or chip-seal services, asphalt pavement preservation including conventional patching and various methods of sealing existing parking lots and roadways (e.g., chip, hot chip, slurry, and crack sealing). All materials used must meet ASTM, AASHTO, and CDOT standards. The Contractor is responsible for any traffic control and closures of parking lots within the refuge.
Annually, the FWS will coordinate with the contractor on the locations scheduled for preventative maintenance. The Contractor may request an escort when it is difficult to locate a specific location with the directions provided by the Front Range National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the contract is from July 15, 2023, to July 14, 2028.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the construction projects will be performed are Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge at 9210 West 80th Avenue in Arvada, CO 80005 and Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge at 6550 Gateway Road in Commerce City, Colorado 80022.
