Co River Rec Sites Gravel

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this contract for the supply, hauling, and delivery of gravel to various recreation sites in the Kane Creek area near Moab, Utah. The goal of this contract is to support the repair and maintenance of existing gravel parking and campground surfaces. This project is part of the BLM's mission to manage public lands for multiple uses while ensuring their sustainability.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and incidentals necessary to supply, haul, and deliver approximately 189 tons total of 1-1/2" untreated base course (UTBC) to designated locations in the Kane Creek area. The material must meet specific gradation requirements as follows:

- Sieve Size: % Passing (by Weight)
- 1-1/2": 100%
- 1": 90 – 100%
- 3/4": 70 – 85%
- 1/2": 65 – 80%
- 3/8": 55 – 75%

The contractor will dump the material at designated locations; spreading, leveling, and compaction will be performed by BLM personnel. Delivery coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) is required to align with project needs and site conditions.

Period of Performance
Sixty (60) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
Kane Creek area near Moab, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set Aside. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to furnish material that meets specified gradation requirements and provide recent sieve analysis test results. They must also have suitable delivery vehicles (end-dump trucks preferred) and coordinate deliveries with the COR.
