CMS Cloud Products & Tools RFI

This is a Request for Information (RFI) posted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information from industry for project planning includet the exploration of alternative solutions, industry trends, and technology to support CMS Cloud Products & Tools. Contractors are invited to submit responses in accordance with the attached RFI. Repsonses should be submitted via email to Stephen.Stoyer@cms.hhs.gov and Kellie.Palmer@cms.hhs.gov, by the date and time specifed in the RFI. Cloud Products & Tools (CPT) will be responsible for the delivery of all infrastructure needed by CMS Business Owners utilizing the CMS Cloud Service as well as that needed by other contractors responsible for delivery of the cloud service to the CMS Business Owner, i.e. Cloud Navigator Services, Cloud IT Operations and Maintenance, Cloud Security Operations. Infrastructure includes but is not limited to all of the technology used by our Business Owners and Cloud program contractors in running applications or delivering their services. Essentially it includes all of the following things: Cloud services from a Cloud Service Provider (CSP). Includes continuing the delivery of Microsoft Azure Government (MAG) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Service Provider accounts and procuring Cloud Service Provider compute or native services, software, data center leased space, hardware, and tools, OEM professional services etc.. Furthermore, CPT is responsible for providing asset and financial management services associated with this infrastructure.
