CMOP Murfreesboro decommissioning equipment

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to decommission equipment at the Mid-South Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacy (CMOP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The goal of this contract is to safely and efficiently remove existing legacy production equipment and supporting utilities, transitioning the space back to the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS). This action is critical to facilitate the upcoming construction for a Design Bid Build Project at TVHS.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary resources to accomplish the decommissioning of existing legacy automatic prescription filling systems. This includes furnishing labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision. The work will involve accurate inventory and removal of production equipment located at Mid-South CMOP, 5171 Sam Jared Drive, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. The contractor must ensure compliance with VA guidelines and safety regulations during the removal process.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed as soon as possible due to unusual and compelling urgency, with an emphasis on completing the work quickly to avoid delays in returning the space to TVHS.
