Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit and award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced contract for Spacesaver Eclipse Power Assist Upgrade to Spacesaver Interiors, located at 4833 Rugby Ave STE 600, Bethesda, MD 20814. The U.S. Army Center of Military History (CMH)-Field Programs & Historical Services Directorate (FP), Fort McNair, requires products and installation services to furnish, deliver, and install the necessary parts to upgrade the outdated Power Assist Systems to Eclipse Power Assist on the three existing Spacesaver brand High-Density Mobile Shelving Storage Systems (HDMSS) located at 102 4th Ave, Room 129, Building 35, Ft. McNair, Washington D.C., 20024. The CMH-FP provides primary and secondary source materials to Army historians; maintains selected archives; conducts research in support of inquiries; and provides library and archival services to CMH. The work shall be accomplished in three phases: Phase 1 (System 1 Shelves), Phase 2 (System 2 Shelves), and Phase 3 (System 3 Shelves).

Work Details
The contract includes specific products such as Spacesaver Eclipse System components for System 1, System 2, and System 3 IAW the Statement of Objectives (SOO). It also involves installation services for each system. The parts and components required for the upgrade include Decorative Tube Spacers, Phenolic Laminate Backers, Density Particle Board Cores, High Pressure Laminate, T-Molds, new end panels, motors, Photo Sweep with aisle entry using infrared photoelectric technology, among others.

The period of performance for delivery is from July 17th, 2023 to December 22nd, 2023.

Place of Performance
