This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order against the selected vendor's Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). The quote shall be submitted in accordance with the Statement of Work, and the other attached documents. All clauses, terms & conditions of the selected vendor's base FSS contract will remain in full force and effect. This RFQ is for Construction Management Services for a complete elevator modernization at the Augusta Georgia Federal Courthouse. The project includes the modernization of one group operation passenger elevator and will be completed within the scheduled 352-day time frame. The work will include removal and disposal of existing systems, installation of replacement equipment, adjustment, warranty and ongoing maintenance of current equipment during elevator modernization process. The current elevator within the facility have reached the end of their useful life expectancy. This basement traction elevator needs upgrade after years of intensive use. The elevator has experienced continuous equipment problems in the past few years and is at a point where it could fail at any time due to the difficulty of obtaining replacement parts and obsolete control systems. The upgraded vertical transportation systems are expected to meet all Building and Life Safety Code requirements along with GSA standards and criteria. The Augusta Georgia Federal Courthouse is located at 500 East Ford Street, Augusta, Georgia 30901. The building consists of 3 floors above ground and a basement. 1.1.4 The Elevator Contractor will perform a complete modernization upgrade of one elevator with state-of-the-art microprocessor control system and equipment. The upgraded elevator shall be delivered within schedule and budget with minimal disturbance to building tenants' operations and increase the liability of the new equipment. The Task Order contract will provide needed oversite by way of Construction Management Services (CMa) for the Construction of the Elevator Modernization Project
