Background
The U.S. Department of Education anticipates the award of a hybrid, firm-fixed-price and cost reimbursement contract to a single, successful offeror for cloud hosting, system administration, and website support and development. The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) currently maintains a virtual data center hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) consisting of approximately 60 virtual servers, primarily Windows Server versions, to host survey collection and dissemination websites in support of IES’ mission.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, services, and facilities necessary to perform the requirements set forth in the Statement of Work. This includes providing access to Amazon Web Services, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), system administration and support staff, website administration and development staff, and system and software licenses. The contract type is hybrid with firm fixed price and cost reimbursement tasks. The period of performance includes a base year from March 19, 2021, to March 18, 2022.
Option years extend until September 18, 2026.
