Description

Home-Based Clinical Respiratory Services for the Boise VAMC and its Jurisdiction. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, storage, and equipment necessary to transport/deliver Positive Airway Pressure Therapy devices (PAP) / Oximetry / Home Medical Equipment (HME) / Durable Medical Equipment (DME), herein referred to as DME, and accessories in accordance with the attached statement of work..

Background
The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a contractor to provide home-based clinical respiratory services. The goal of this contract is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, storage, and equipment for the transportation and delivery of Positive Airway Pressure Therapy devices (PAP), Oximetry, Home Medical Equipment (HME), and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to veterans within its jurisdiction.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. CPAP Setup or Mask refit with delivery services, as per the Performance Work Statement.

2. Oximetry delivery and download services.

3. Conducting Respiratory Therapy Visits, which exclude mask refits but include Vent Checks and/or pressure changes.

4. Providing estimated mileage for service delivery, totaling approximately 2,205 miles.

Additionally, the contractor must maintain a well-established communication system that includes a toll-free phone number for 24-hour emergency services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple ordering periods from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at the Boise VAMC and its jurisdiction.
