The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has a requirement for a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tool to be usedat the point of care. This clinical tool is required as a first line, comprehensive, and primary source of clinicalinformation and guidance for Department of Defense Medicine and the Military Health System, which consistof medical and support functions and medical related personnel.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format inSubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcementconstitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP).

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has a requirement for a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tool to be utilized at the point of care. This tool is essential as a primary source of clinical information and guidance for the Department of Defense Medicine and the Military Health System, which encompasses medical and support functions along with medical-related personnel.

The CDS tool aims to provide comprehensive, evidence-based recommendations to assist healthcare providers in managing various medical disorders and diseases.

Work Details
The CDS tool shall cover a broad range of medical disorders and diseases, providing recommendations, guidance, and advice to healthcare providers in identifying, treating, and managing patient conditions. It must reference both filtered and unfiltered information to deliver expert recommendations on medical management approaches and expected outcomes.

The tool is intended for use by a diverse group of healthcare providers within the Military Health System, including junior medics and experienced physicians, particularly in remote locations where immediate consultation may not be available.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 12 September 2024 to 31 August 2025; Option Year One: 01 September 2025 to 31 August 2026; Option Year Two: 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2027; Option Year Three: 01 September 2027 to 31 August 2028; Option Year Four: 01 September 2028 to 31 August 2029.

Delivery, inspection, and acceptance will take place at: Ms. Kimberly Adams, 7700 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042.
