THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

The USPFO-AL Purchasing and Contracting Office releases a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) in support of Market Research being conducted to identify the potential procurement of Mobile Climbing Wall (see attached proposed Statement of Requirement) and annual recurring service maintenance can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.

This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited.

The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339920, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 750 EMP.

The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses.

The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.

Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime, and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.

Statement of Requirement (SOR)
General Information
Mobile auto belay 25’ foot rock wall on dual axel trailer for use at community events for special engagements for the 22nd RRB recruiting efforts throughout the state to capture leads and enlistments. This trailer will include 4 sides with 120 climbing holds and auto belay capable of holding approximately 45 lbs. up to 250 lbs. mounted on a heavy-duty mobile trailer with approximately 2.5-inch tongue with electronic brake controls and three (3) heavy duty jacks.
CLIN 0001: Mobile/Stationary Rockwall; 4 each.
Specifications: Approximately 25’ vertical mobile climbing wall on a dual axel trailer Climbing Surface area approximate 320 sq. ft with 120 pre-installed handholds Climbing Surface Materials: Lightweight, non-abrasive fiberglass UV resistant gel coat Four (4) button activated horns at the top. Four (4) station hydraulic Auto-belay routes Eight (8) speed harnesses (approximately minimum 45- maximum 250lbs) Four (4) auto locking carabineers/swivels Three (3) Heavy duty Jacks with wheels & Fenders Trailer has class 4, 2.5-inch ball coupler hitch for max gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds Approximate Travel Height/-Travel Width: height 9’, width 8’, with overall travel length 27’, including the trailer tongue. One (1) handhold wrench Standard RV 7-way towing plug 12-volt DC electric braking system -1 full size heavy duty spare tire with mounting bracket and four (4) Heavy duty wheels and Fenders
CLIN 1001: Option Year 2 climbing wall annual service and refresher training; One (1) year.
CLIN 2001: Option Year 3 climbing wall annual service and refresher training; One (1) year.
CLIN 3001: Option Year 4 climbing wall annual service and refresher training; One (1) year.
CLIN 4001: Option Year 5 climbing wall annual service and refresher training. One (1) year.
Delivery, Inspection and Acceptance
Place of Delivery: Montgomery AL
POC: SFC David Taylor
Required Onsight Training at the time of delivery for employees, to include first annual service.
Inspection and acceptance will occur at time of delivery by a government representative. A comprehensive bill of lading or delivery receipt shall accompany all deliverables that details, at minimum, all serial numbers associated with the requested trailer and internal equipment.
Warranty
All equipment shall have the standard manufacturer’s warranty. The Contractor shall warranty all items delivered and ensure all items are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

Period of Performance
One year warranty with first year servicing included. Warranty starts from the date of delivery and acceptance.
