Background
The FY25 Cleveland Dredging Project is initiated by the relevant government agency to address dredging needs in Cleveland. The mission of this project is to enhance navigational safety and environmental conditions in the area through effective dredging operations. The goal is to ensure that the waterways are maintained at optimal depths for safe passage of vessels and to mitigate any environmental impacts associated with sediment accumulation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing dredging operations, which include but are not limited to: conducting pre-dredging surveys, mobilizing necessary equipment, executing dredging activities, managing sediment disposal, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Specific tasks include:
- Coordination meetings with stakeholders to discuss scope and safety procedures.
- Implementation of a Hazardous Energy Control Program (HECP) during operations.
- Conducting lockout/tagout procedures when necessary to ensure worker safety.
- Establishing a Fall Protection Program for employees exposed to fall hazards during the project.
- Developing an Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) that outlines measures for protecting natural resources and compliance with environmental laws. This includes identifying potential environmental issues, waste management strategies, and emergency response protocols.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon receipt of the notice to proceed and will be completed within a specified number of calendar days as outlined in the solicitation documents.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Cleveland, specifically in designated dredging areas as identified in project plans.
