Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army as a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Class A Reusable Vehicle Extrication and Fire Training Prop. The purpose of this contract is to provide a training prop designed for firefighter training, enabling repeated evolutions for vehicle extrication and live-fire scenarios. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 1 each Class A Reusable Vehicle Extrication and Fire Training Prop with the following salient characteristics:

1. General Requirements:
- Type: Full-size sedan, reusable vehicle prop designed for firefighter training.
- Purpose: Designed for repeated evolutions in basic vehicle extrication training and live-fire scenarios.
- Maintenance: Low-maintenance, requiring only washing and hosing down after use.

2. Construction and Durability:
- Material: 100% heavy-duty stainless steel construction to withstand repeated use and live-fire conditions.
- Consumables: Utilizes common, low-cost, replaceable consumables including steel 'V' cut plates for the hood, flat steel cut plates for A-posts and fenders, 3/4" rebar for hinge cuts, Nader pin attacks, column cuts, and wood stakes for simulating latches and locks.
- Mobility: Equipped with wheels for ease of movement.

3. Extrication Training Features:
- Door Evolutions: Driver side configured to simulate Nader pin attack; passenger side configured to simulate hinge attack with full mechanisms allowing various exercises.
- Dash and Column Evolutions: Features to accept hydraulic rescue ram for dash roll; includes 'A' column relief cut feature.
- Roof and Post Evolutions: Replaceable cut sections on 'A' posts; simulated hinged roof section for roof removal techniques.
- Front End Evolutions: Features to simulate fender crushing; hood latch system utilizing replaceable components.
- Rear and Interior Access: Trunk secured by replaceable component; rear seats designed to fold down for access into trunk area.
- Vehicle Systems: Non-permanently-fixed battery box; adjustable front seats.

4. Live-Fire Training Features:
- Fire Resistance: Must withstand live-fire training using Class 'A' materials (e.g., wood pallets).
- Burn Locations: Designated locations in engine compartment, main cabin, trunk, and wheel wells.
