Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a contract for the re-roofing of the Clarence J. Brown Picnic Shelters located at 2630 Croft Road, Springfield, Ohio.

The mission of this project is to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the picnic shelters by replacing their roofs with durable metal roofing materials. The estimated construction cost ranges from $10,000 to $50,000, and this project is set aside 100% for small businesses.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to re-roof the Clarence J Brown Picnic Shelters. Specific tasks include:

1. Removing existing wood siding, trim, flashing, soffit, aluminum gutters, and associated hardware.
2. Re-roofing the Lake View, Prairie View, and Meadow View Picnic Shelters by installing metal roofing over existing roof materials.
3. Replacing any damaged sections of drip edges, fascia boards, and rake edges to match existing structures; these will be stained brown in color with approval from the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC).
4. Installing 26-gauge ribbed metal roofing using furring strips and other necessary materials to ensure watertight roofs that meet industrial standards; roofing color must be brown and approved by TPOC prior to purchase.
5. Using appropriate fasteners that do not penetrate the visible underside of the roof deck.
6. Removing all existing siding and associated materials; all debris becomes the contractor's property for proper disposal according to applicable laws.
7. Noting existing electrical conduit lines within the shelter for restoration to original condition post-work.

Period of Performance
Work under this contract will begin within 14 calendar days of award and must be completed within 90 calendar days after receiving the award.

The work will be performed at Clarence J Brown Dam and Reservoir located at 2630 Croft Road, Springfield, Ohio.
