CIVMAR Support Unit East Lodging and Transportation for Norfolk, VA   2

Background
The contract is for providing lodging and transportation services to authorized Civil Service Mariners (CIVMARs) assigned to the Military Sealift Command (MSC) CIVMAR Support Unit (CSU E) in Norfolk, VA. The contractor is required to furnish necessary facilities, including furniture, equipment, and supplies, management, and supervision of the hotel labor force within a 25-mile driving radius of CIVMAR Support Unit-East (CSU-E), Bldg. SP-312, 518 A Street, Naval Station, Norfolk VA 23511-2419. The lodging facility must be within a 1/2 mile distance of a public transportation designated stop or provide transportation to/from the nearest public transportation designated stop with a set schedule.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide lodging and transportation services meeting specific requirements such as providing necessary facilities, furniture, equipment, and supplies; maintaining specific room amenities including microwave, refrigerator, washers, dryers, internet connection; ensuring AAA Three Diamond Designation or higher certification for proposed hotels; providing dining facilities or ensuring dining facilities within one half (1/2) of a mile from each hotel assigned to the contract; making reservations in advance of arrival by the MSC designated POC; providing single room night rate per day consistent with per diem locality rates as specified in the Joint Travel Regulations; and offering transportation to and from the contractor's lodging facilities and MSC CSU-E Naval Station.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year is from June 9, 2024, to June 8, 2025. There are also option periods extending up to December 6, 2029.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Norfolk, VA.
