Description

The Department of the Air Force 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) for support of the 6 CES Base Operation Support services function at MacDill AFB, FL. The scope of this contract is to provide services and items that would normally be provided by a civil engineering squadron as necessary for the proper function and operation of MacDill AFB. This scope encompasses requirements specifically defined in the PWS and Appendices, and those that may otherwise be reasonably required to facilitate execution of the intent of this contract. This includes, but is not limited to: base operations support; engineering support; management, maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure systems; construction management; minor construction; emergency management and response; environmental requirements and programs; real property management; material procurement and management; Civil Engineer (CE) deployment training and management; exercise support; and the fulfillment of other responsibilities that may be or may become delegated to the 6 CES.

A Pre-proposal conference/site visit has been set for 21 March 2023 at 0900, MacDill AFB Theater. Offerors wishing to attend will need to submit names of up to three (3) individuals representing the company within 3 business days after issuance of the solicitation. The government reserves the right to limit the amount of individuals per contractor based on availability of seats at the meeting location and bus seats.

Background
The Department of the Air Force 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) for support of the 6 CES Base Operation Support services function at MacDill AFB, FL.

The goal of this contract is to provide services and items that would normally be provided by a civil engineering squadron necessary for the proper function and operation of MacDill AFB. This includes base operations support, engineering support, management, maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure systems, construction management, minor construction, emergency management and response, environmental requirements and programs, real property management, material procurement and management, Civil Engineer (CE) deployment training and management, exercise support, and fulfillment of other responsibilities delegated to the 6 CES.
