The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hereby issues this notice of intent to sole source. The FDA intends to award a firm fixed-price contract to InformaBusiness Intelligence of 101 Paramount Drive Ste 100 Sarasota, Florida 34232-6044 in accordance with FAR 5.201. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) for the Citeline license with unlimited search access to Pharmaprojects drug pipeline database. The proposed NAICS code for these services is 511120 - Periodical Publishers.
The purpose of this acquisition is to provide access to over 60,000 highly detailed and fully searchable drug profiles, from active development, early stage, to market updated on a real-time basis with development history timelines, licensing information, and molecular structure.
The period of performance shall be one 12-months base year, from July 2018 to July, 2019 and 3 12-month option years.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, providing sufficient information for the government to evaluate that the respondent has the capabilities to provide these services. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement and all submissions received by the closing date of the notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
It is anticipated that an award will be issued to InformaBusiness. within approximately fifteen (15) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.
