Cisco Wi-Fi Monitoring

Background
The Department of State (DOS) is seeking to award a contract for Wi-Fi monitoring services through a justification and approval process. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous remote monitoring and proactive management of the modernized DOS wireless environment, which is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and security. Cisco has been identified as the sole provider capable of delivering these specialized services due to their extensive knowledge of DOS systems and proprietary products.

Work Details
The contractor, Cisco, will provide ITIL-based remote monitoring and proactive management services for the DOS wireless environment. The core services to be delivered include:

1. Service Transition and Activation
2. Managed Element Inventory
3. Configuration Backup and Restoration
4. Event Management
5. Incident Management
6. Change Management
7. Problem Management
8. Service Delivery Management
9. Service Delivery Reporting.

These services will be delivered using a 24x7 service delivery model by a team with Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret level clearance, ensuring that issues are anticipated, identified, and resolved quickly and accurately.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of twelve (12) months.

Place of Performance
The services will be delivered from a secure Cisco facility located in Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, North Carolina).
