Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically the United States Coast Guard (USCG), is seeking to procure the renewal of brand name Cisco SmartNet maintenance. This contract aims to ensure that all Cisco network equipment connected to the USCG enterprise remains operational and compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

The justification for this procurement is based on the need for continuous access to technical support and updates from Cisco, which is critical for maintaining the integrity of USCG's information systems.

Work Details
The contract includes the renewal of Cisco SmartNet maintenance, which provides warranty repair and replacement services for all Cisco network equipment. This support allows USCG’s Information System Technicians direct access to Cisco engineers and a variety of online resources, including hardware Return Material Authorization (RMA) support.

Additionally, it extends the original Cisco End User License Agreement (EULA) for each device, ensuring ongoing access to operating system updates and security patches. The contract also covers the renewal of software licenses for specific Cisco products: Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco Modeling Lab (CML), Cisco Stealth Watch, and Cisco FLEX. This renewal ensures continued access to software updates, security patches, and technical support under Cisco's Technical Support Policy and Terms. The estimated total price for these services is funded through FY24.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for this delivery order will consist of one 6-month base period from August 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, followed by one 6-month option period from February 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in connection with all USCG facilities utilizing Cisco network equipment.
