Description

A Limited Source Justification (LSJ) was approved to award a Deliver Order against Sagent Pharmaceutical, Inc's VA schedule V797D-40094 utilizing FAR Subpart 8.4; HHS Best-in-Class methodology for pharmaceuticals, FSS/GSA/VA schedules.

Sagent Pharmaceutical, Inc's technical proposal met the requirements of the solicitation, represented a low performance risk, offered prices published in its schedule. Sagent Pharmaceutical Inc. was rated technically acceptable, and its price was determined to be fair and reasonable . In addition, Sagent Pharmaceutical Inc. was the only one (1) FDA-registered distributor of Ciprofloxacin on the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS)/ Veteran Administration's (VA) schedule holder to meet the government's requirement. Award of this Delivery Order to Sagent Pharmaceutical, Inc's is considered to be in the best interest of the government.
