AFOSI conducts over 2,000 investigations annually and continues to see a rise in the use of crypto/virtual currency use to further criminal activities through out the open and darkweb. With the advances in digital media and the internet (open and darkweb), AFOSI needs the capability to collect and process digital evidence related to cyrpto/virtual currency transactions, whether it resides on the open internet or the darkweb..CipherTrace, Inc.are the sole manufacturer and publisher of the CipherTrace Inspector dataset. To date, there are no other known resellers of this.
