Project is to construct additional paved parking areas at the China Wall OHV staging area. Contractor to complete and obtain the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan permit and encroachment permits (if applicable).

Background
The project is initiated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and aims to expand the China Wall Staging Area Trailhead located in the Tahoe National Forest, specifically along Mosquito Ridge Road in Placer County, California.

The primary goal of this contract is to construct additional paved parking areas to enhance accessibility and usability for outdoor enthusiasts visiting the area.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as:
- site clearing and grubbing
- grading
- saw cutting existing asphalt
- subbase and base preparation
- installation of drainage features
- aggregate base installation
- asphalt paving
- rock barriers installation.

The contractor is also responsible for obtaining necessary permits including the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan permit and any encroachment permits that may be applicable. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.

Period of Performance
