Chilled Water Lines Repair

Background
Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB) in Colorado is seeking potential sources for repairs to a dormitory chilled water system. The project is aimed at making repairs to the chilled water system in Building 1270 at Peterson SFB. The contractor is required to comply with all local, federal, and USAF codes, as well as follow the Peterson SFB Design Guide, the Peterson SFB Installation Facilities Standards (IFS), and UFC 1 200-01. The project must also adhere to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and base-specific standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes making repairs to the chilled water supply and return lines in Building 1270. This involves replacing 4” chilled water return piping from the changeover valve flange to the flange adjacent to the concrete wall, as well as replacing 4” chilled water supply piping from the flange adjacent to the wall to the dual temperature piping. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing new gaskets on chilled water supply and return isolation valves at the outdoor chiller yard, replacing an existing chemical filter feeder with a new model, draining and refilling inhibited propylene glycol, reconnecting control of two-way valves including reconnection of valve actuators and temperature sensors, obtaining EMCS services to ensure control and transition of heating and cooling has been reestablished to EMCS JCI Metasys front end.

The construction projects will be performed at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB) in Colorado.
