Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI): Research Molecular Characterization   3

Background
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking support for the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) to improve diagnosis and treatment for childhood and adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancers. The goal of this acquisition is to support research molecular characterization of biospecimens in support of ongoing research programs conducted under the CCDI.

Work Details
The Contractor will be required to perform tasks such as characterization of genes, proteins, metabolites, and other related markers including performance of measurements such as genomic and transcriptomic sequencing, analysis of protein expression and post-translational modifications (PTMs) in tissues, and other complex, state-of-the-art, non-clinical-grade assays. Biological materials will be obtained from various sources and geographical locations and delivered to the Contractor for characterization, data analysis, and deposition of data in CCDI-specified data repositories. The NCI/CBIIT requires technical support for these studies.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance of this contract shall be from January 31st, 2025 - January 30th, 2026. The actual start date may be sooner if NIH is able to make an award prior to the anticipated Period of Performance.

The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed include the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Office of Data Sharing (ODS), Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT), located at 9609 Medical Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892.
