Child Care Services at the National Archives & Records Administration

Background
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is seeking services for the operation of a Child Day Care Center located at their Archives II facility in College Park, Maryland.

The mission of NARA is to preserve and make accessible the records of the federal government, and this contract aims to provide quality child care services for employees and visitors at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive child care services, which include but are not limited to:

- Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children;
- Developing age-appropriate educational activities;
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards;
- Managing daily operations of the center;
- Maintaining records related to children's attendance and health;
- Communicating with parents regarding their children's progress;
- Providing meals and snacks that meet nutritional guidelines.

The contractor must also ensure that all staff members are qualified and trained in early childhood education.
