Chief of Mission Residence Fence Extension

Background
The Chief of Mission Residence Fence Extension project is issued by the General Services Office of the American Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus. The goal of this contract is to extend the existing fence at the Chief of Mission Residence to enhance security and comply with the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Work Details
The contractor is required to coordinate and install an extension of perforated fence panels to the Chancery wall between the Chief of Mission Residence Main Entrance and the Staff Side Entrance. The specifications include:
- Installation of perforated panels matching existing texture, pattern, and color.
- Maximum distance between frame posts is 4.00m.
- Use existing foundations and posts where applicable.
- New foundations must be installed as per provided sketches (500x500x500mm).
- Materials include power coated galvanized steel for framing and aluminum for perforated panels.
- The height of the fence should match existing at 2.10m, with adjustments for elevation differences.
- The contractor must prepare shop drawings for approval, including details on panel framing, dimensions, and foundation reinforcement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that their workers and equipment comply with vetting processes and security requirements set by the US Embassy in Cyprus. Additionally, all prices must be quoted without VAT as the U.S. Embassy has a tax exemption certificate.
