Chief Joseph Dam Iso-Phase Powerbus Units 1 -16   4

Background
The Chief Joseph Dam is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the dam and its associated facilities.

The goal of this contract is to provide construction services for the installation of Iso-Phase Powerbus Units 1-16, which are critical components in the electrical distribution system of the dam. This project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of power distribution at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for several key tasks including:
1) Touching up with paint all areas that need to be repainted;
2) Providing field engineering services from the iso-phase bus manufacturer on-site to oversee installation;
3) Delivering as-constructed contract drawings and shop drawings;
4) Supplying Operations and Maintenance instructions for the new iso-phase bus.

The work will involve detailed planning and execution phases including design, fabrication, factory testing, installation, field-testing, commissioning, refurbishment, and coordination with existing operations during outages.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period beginning with a non-binding Notice to Proceed date of January 16, 2025, extending through various phases until project closeout.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will take place at Chief Joseph Dam located in Bridgeport, Washington.
