This is a Sources Sought announcement to request information only. This is not a Request for Quote or Proposal. This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or a confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied.

Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources in determining if a set aside of the solicitations appropriate, and in determining whether this approach to securing contracting support is practicable.

Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information on administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Please note that the solicitation number used for this source sought may be different from the one in the actual solicitation, if a solicitation materializes.

The Public Works Division, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for For Chemcials tp be provided aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC.

The applicable NAICS code is 325180 Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing, the size standard in employees is 1,000.

Interested vendors shall provide the following information:

(1) Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address.

(2) Cage Code, Cage code must be registered in SAM.Gov (https://www.sam.gov).

(3) Business Size under NAICS 325180

Background
The Public Works Division, Marine Corps Installations East, located at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC, has a requirement for the provision of chemicals. This request is part of their mission to maintain operational readiness and support various facilities on the base. The goal of this contract is to ensure that necessary chemicals are delivered and maintained at specified locations for swimming pools, water treatment plants, steam plants, and wastewater treatment plants.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the delivery and maintenance of stock levels of specified chemicals at various locations within Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. Specific tasks include:

1. **Swimming Pools:**
- Provide chemicals for maintenance of 12 swimming pools (9 indoor and 3 outdoor) located at:
- Camp Lejeune: Area 5 Bldg HP-540; Area 2 Bldg HP-236; Area 2 Bldg HP-234
- Camp Johnson: Bldg M-139
- Stone Bay: Bldg RR-460; AS-4400; BB-330; Wallace Creek Fitness Center WC-1; Wounded Warrior Pool PP3 PP-2615 TT20 AS709
- Seasonal outdoor pools at Paradise Point Officers Club (Bldg PP2632), Tarawa Terrace (Bldg TT-20), MCAS New River Officers' Pool (Bldg AS-709)
- Chemicals required include:
- Sulfuric Acid (33%-39%) for pH maintenance
- Sodium Hypochlorite for pool disinfection
- Rock Salt (50 lb bags) for Stone Bay only.
- Deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

2. **Water Treatment Plants:**
- Deliver chemicals to five water treatment plants located at:
- Bldg BA-138
- Bldg HP-20
- Bldg AS-85
- Bldg HB-670
- New Water Treatment Bldg BTA1
- Chemicals required include:
- Sodium Hypochlorite, Muriatic Acid, Sodium Fluoride, Rock Salt (bulk), Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Orthophosphate, Sulfuric Acid, Sodium Bisulfite Liquid, Aqual Flow Lime Slurry, Hydrofluosilicic Acid.
- Deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

3. **Steam Plants:**
- Deliver chemicals to twelve steam plants located at various buildings including FC420, FC303, FC411.
- Chemicals required include Rock Salt (50 lb bags).

4. **Wastewater Treatment Plant:**
- Deliver chemicals to one wastewater treatment plant located at FC440.
- Chemicals required include Methanol and Liquid Aluminum Sulfate (Alum), along with Sulfuric Acid drums/Muriatic Acid.

5. **Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS):**
- Contractor must provide MSDS for each chemical delivered.
