Background
The Charleston VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide Home Oxygen services to Veteran beneficiaries serviced by VISN 7. The contract will be based on the actual needs of the VA, as per the orders placed during the contract's duration. The Contractor is required to supply Home Oxygen to the patient's residence, or any other specified location mentioned in the Home Oxygen order within a 50-mile radius of the supported medical center.

The VA Southeast Network Charleston VAMC/VISN 7 is presently catering to around 830 patients who require oxygen.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, transportation, and personnel to provide services per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This includes program management, human engineering, and logistic support planning requirements. The Contractor shall deliver and set up in the patient’s residence all equipment and supplies ordered by an authorized VA Physician, COR, or Designee. The Contractor shall also visit patients’ residences for regularly scheduled maintenance visits by appointment only; between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Contractor shall abide by all CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, cleaning of equipment and materials, and personal protection equipment.

Period of Performance
This is a five-year contract with five one-year pricing periods. Total contract performance: 06/01/2024-05/31/2029

The geographic locations where the services will be performed include various counties in South Carolina such as Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Chatham, Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillion, Dorchester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Florence, Georgetown, Greenville, Greenwood, Hampton, Horry, Jasper and others.
