The project scope is to repair Facility 675 - (Petroleum Operations Building) Category Code 467650 ? (MR) ? This project includes renovation of Building 675 POL Operations (Ops) to provide spaces and functional programming for the Fuel Support Command, Fuels Management, and Auxiliary operations support, and POL laboratory. This is under consideration to set aside for WOSB although it will depend upon the sources sought results and the Market Research. Background
The project is initiated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the renovation of Facility 675, known as the Petroleum Operations Building, located at Joint Base Charleston. The goal is to enhance operational capabilities for the Fuel Support Command, Fuels Management, and Auxiliary operations support, including a POL laboratory. The renovation aims to provide modernized spaces while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. This project is under consideration for a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside based on market research results.

Work Details
The scope of work includes extensive renovations to Building 675, which must be accommodated within the existing building footprint. Key tasks include:

1. **Architectural Work**: Raising ceiling heights to meet UFC code requirements, installing a new sloped roof with improved drainage and thermal envelope, replacing windows and doors to enhance thermal resistance and noise reduction, and relocating entry/egress points.

2. **Structural Work**: Replacing the roofing system with a pitched roof and constructing new exterior bearing walls on the south face of the building.

3. **Mechanical Work**: Replacing all HVAC equipment with energy-efficient systems including heat pump technology; enhancing plumbing systems with new fixtures of commercial quality; ensuring insulated exterior envelopes are installed.

4. **Electrical Work**: Upgrading electrical systems to accommodate renovations, including replacing existing generators under separate initiatives.

5. **Fire Protection**: Demolishing existing fire alarm systems and installing a new combined fire alarm/mass notification system along with a fire suppression system.

6. **Civil Work**: Adding 20 new asphalt parking spaces, constructing an ADA-compliant concrete ramp, and providing new fire water service to the building.

The construction projects will be performed at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.
