Charbonneau Park Septic Pump and Inspection   3

Background
This acquisition seeks to fulfill the critical need for maintenance and inspection of the septic systems at Charbonneau Park, ensuring adherence to health standards and safeguarding the safety and enjoyment of park visitors.

The requirement for this service stems from a lack of recent maintenance, underscoring the necessity for prompt action to mitigate potential environmental risks. Key stakeholders include Charbonneau Park Management, tasked with upkeep of park facilities; the Washington State Department of Health, enforcing compliance with waste management health standards; and park visitors who depend on a clean environment for recreational activities.

Work Details
The contractor must provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks outlined in this SOW. The contractor will be responsible for pumping and inspecting two septic tanks at Charbonneau Park RV campgrounds: one with a capacity of 3,000 gallons and the other with a capacity of 6,000 gallons.

This includes:
1) Pumping 3,000-gallon Tank: Remove contents to maximum extent practicable.
2) Pumping 6,000-gallon Tank: Remove contents to maximum extent practicable.
3) Visual Inspection of both tanks: Identify any damage, leaks, or wear followed by a camera assessment to evaluate interior conditions. Document findings and provide reports to park management including recommendations for repairs.

Deliverables include a Septic Tank Pumping Report due within 48 hours post-pumping and an Inspection Report due within 48 hours post-inspection.

Place of Performance
The work will take place entirely on site at Charbonneau Park campgrounds.
