Dyess AFB, TX has a requirement to remove old demo lighting inside the 7 BW/HC Chapel Santuary and replace it wil new lighting fixtures as well as add in new spotlights/floodlights. A more detailed list of what this requirement entails can be found in the SOW document.

The information above is intended to be descriptive and not restrictive in order to describe the nature of the services requested. Interested parties are responsible for demonstrating to the Government their ability to provide the services as indicated.

In order for your offer to be accepted, it shall include but is not limited to the following:

  1. Complete (must be signed) Page 3 & 4 of RFQ COMBO (or contractor equivalent).
  2. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications para b only.
  3. computer-generated photometric plans for each space to verify proposed lighting design meets required criteria IAW Statement of Work 5.1.4 Lighting Calculations.
  4. Have quote be valid until 30 September 2024.

To respond, you must email your information prior to 1000 CST on 22 August 2024.

Background
Dyess Air Force Base (AFB), located in Texas, has a requirement to upgrade the lighting within the 7 BW/HC Chapel Sanctuary. The goal of this contract is to replace old demo lighting with new fixtures and to install additional spotlights and floodlights. This project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the chapel's lighting, ensuring it meets modern standards and operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items necessary for the project. The specific requirements include:

1. **Ceiling Light Fixtures**:
- Demo existing chandelier fixtures and replace them with 12 Springtree warm white 120-watt DMX COB LED Housing Lighting Fixtures or approved equal.
- Ensure that the lighting provides an illuminance horizontal target average of 10 foot-candles at 2’-0” above finished floor (AFF) according to Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Lighting Standard 10th edition.
- Install new DMX drive lines to each new fixture and a DMX controller near the chapel sanctuary’s sound console equipment.

2. **Flood Lights/Spotlights**:
- Install 2 Chauvet Ovation E-160WW floodlights/spotlights at both the south-facing and west-facing stained glass windows for a total of 4 units.
- Ensure that these lights also provide an illuminance horizontal target average of 10 foot-candles at 2’-0” AFF.
