Chapel Kitchen Renovation at Cannon AFB, NM

1. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR VENDOR AWARENESS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION ONLY. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS PRE-SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. ANY ATTACHMENTS INCLUDED WITH THIS PRE-SOLICITATION ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

2. Description of Services: The scope of the work includes a renovation of the Chapel kitchen to increase the overall area. Work includes asbestos abatement as well as the demolition and disposal of the following: existing ceilings, tile, cabinetry, HVAC equipment, and a select non-load bearing wall. Walls shall be patched appropriately and painted, new cabinetry shall be installed, and new ceiling grid and tile shall be installed throughout. The existing flooring in the kitchen shall be demolished and filling in to match the existing. The existing flooring throughout the kitchen and adjacent storage room shall be demolished and replaced with no noticable transitions or seams. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and supervision to provide a complete, finished, and functional product meeting the specifications provided. The general scope of work is covered by the attached statement of work (SOW), specifications, and drawings that consists of providing all engineering, labor, materials, equipment, supervision and effort necessary to renovate the kitchen of the Base Chapel, Building 58, at Cannon AFB, NM.

3. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and management to perform this requirement at Cannon Air Force Base located in Clovis, New Mexico.

5. This pre-solicitation is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). It is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this pre-solicitation. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this pre-solicitation.
