Description

The Contractor shall provide the preventative maintenance service (Chancery Generator Systems) for the U.S. Embassy Wellington, NewZealand. The contractor must be based in Wellington, New Zealand and have the ability to provide this service.

Background
The United States Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance services for its standby generator systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of the generator systems that are critical for the Embassy's electrical supply. The contractor must be based in Wellington and possess the necessary qualifications and compliance with local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance on two generator units, a Load Bank, and an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) located at the US Embassy Chancery. The work includes:

1. Inspecting and reporting on the generator units, Load Bank, and ATS to ensure compliance with New Zealand codes and standards including NZS6104:1981, NZBC Fire Safety, HSAW 2015, and AS/NZS 3000:2018.

2. Providing mechanical and electrical inspection services to high health, safety, environmental, quality, and technical standards.

3. Confirming that all service manuals are complete and current.

4. Submitting detailed reports after each maintenance visit within five business days.

5. Providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

6. Ensuring all work adheres to OEM specifications and relevant legislation.

7. Conducting emergency assistance for generator support within 24 hours when contacted by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

8. Maintaining a safe working environment by following site safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

The contract will be performed at the U.S. Embassy Chancery located at 29 Fitzherbert Terrace, Thorndon, Wellington, New Zealand.
